Can I do Making Tax Digital on my phone?

On an iPhone, yes, with one thing to know. VoxaMTD's iPhone app is where you keep rent and expenses day to day, and sending a quarterly update opens our web portal inside the app. VoxaMTD has no Android app.
So filing happens on the web portal rather than in the app's own screens. The app is free to download, and the iPhone app page shows what it does.
VoxaMTD's free plan covers quarterly updates for up to 2 tenancies, and paid plans start at £8.99 a month. It sends quarterly updates only, so you need other software or an accountant for the year-end step.
If you use Android, look elsewhere. Coconut's pricing page lists a mobile app for iOS and Android, as read on 4 November 2026, and August has iOS and Android versions, as read on 3 November 2026. We make VoxaMTD, so check each provider's own site before you decide.
