What is VoxaMTD?
VoxaMTD is free, MTD-compatible Making Tax Digital for Income Tax software. It connects to a UK current account through open banking provided by Finexer Ltd, which is FCA authorised, automatically categorises business transactions with AI, calculates real-time tax estimates, and submits quarterly updates directly to HMRC. The year-end final declaration is coming before the first one is due (January 2028).
Around 864,000 UK sole traders and landlords with qualifying income above £50,000 must file quarterly from 6 April 2026. The threshold drops to £30,000 in April 2027 and £20,000 in April 2028. VoxaMTD covers the full mandate at £0/month for core compliance.
Who uses VoxaMTD?
VoxaMTD is built for self-employed sole traders, single- and multi-property landlords, and hybrid earners with both trading and rental income. The platform handles both income types in one dashboard, with a quarterly update for each, as HMRC requires.
How does VoxaMTD connect to HMRC and your bank?
Bank connections are provided through Finexer Ltd (FCA FRN 925695), authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under the Payment Services Regulations 2017. VoxaMTD is an Account Information Services agent of Finexer Ltd, effective 30 March 2026. Bank access is read-only. VoxaMTD can never move money.
Voxa MTD Limited is listed on the FCA Register as a payment services agent of Finexer Ltd (register reference 1054182), effective 30 March 2026. Voxa MTD Limited is not itself authorised by the FCA.
HMRC submissions use the official Making Tax Digital API via secure OAuth (HMRC App ID 44aa3ba9-6072-4418-93c2-f52aa81a23b4). VoxaMTD never sees a Government Gateway password. Every submission carries the fraud-prevention headers HMRC requires.

VoxaMTD is built and operated by Voxa MTD Limited, a UK company registered in England and Wales (Companies House 16984959). The team is small, UK-based, and ships product updates directly against the HMRC MTD ITSA roadmap.
