How much does NRLA Portfolio cost?

Last verified 23 October 2026

NRLA Portfolio is included with NRLA membership, which starts at £125 a year for a landlord. Members can upgrade to PortfolioPlus for £5 a month or PortfolioPro for £11 a month. Without membership, the NRLA lists Portfolio at £12, PortfolioPlus at £17 and PortfolioPro at £23 a month.

Those figures are from the NRLA's Portfolio page, checked on 23 October 2026. The NRLA says members only ever pay one upgrade price. Quarterly HMRC submissions are listed on PortfolioPro, so a member who wants the software to send their Making Tax Digital updates would pay the membership plus £11 a month.

Membership also brings an advice line, more than 130 documents and guides, training and campaigning, so the price buys more than software. If you only need MTD software, compare it with options that need no membership: VoxaMTD's free plan sends quarterly updates for up to two tenancies.
